Cd21 tests ?

Do they need to be done at 7 dpo, does it make much difference if it is done a day or two later?

Hi hun,
When I had mine done, I was worrying as it fell on a bank hol weekend! But my doctor said it was fine to do give or take a couple of days.
I expect your doctor knows the length of your cycles, so dont worry too much about ti.

My CD21 fell on a Saturday and i was told to do it on the Friday - GP said if it had been a Sunday he'd have recommended the Monday.

I was told that if the results came back showing no ovulation and my period hadn't arrived by the time the results were in - they would do another test to see if i had ovulated since the previous test.

thanks for the replies ladies..
My cycles have been really irregular since my mmc in nov2008 and we haven't had any success since. I know it's still early days but thought i would go to the docs just for some advice really and she suggested the progesterone test for me and a SA for DH.

I had the test already on thursday past (which i know was too early (1DPO) but went along with the doc) I think i will be 8DPO on the day of the test this thursday coming so hopefully that will be ok to give an accurate result without me having to repeat the test again.

yep, anything between 5 and 9 dpo should be ok, but the closer to 7 the better
