I'm 10DPO, and my temp went up a little bit this morning, but when I went to the toilet there was blood. Not the browny mucous-y stuff that normally signals the start of AF, but proper red blood. Not much, and then it was gone.

I have zero symptoms (of either pregnancy or AF) and my temp hasn't dropped, but I was wondering if this could be it?

I had a dream last night that I got a positive HPT - first time I've dreamed about it.

Normal luteal phase is about 10 - 14 DPO, so it's the right time, but why would it stop?

I had recurrent dreams of +ve HPT before I got mine!

Just compared your chart to someone who got a BFP and your chart is looking the same. Fingers crossed hope you get yours!! When are you testing?? if it was AF surely it would have stayed??? x

That's what I thought Antonia - but doesn't your temp drop for AF? It dropped the last 2 days, but then went up again today. Very odd.

I'm not testing until 9 December Laura!! How are things going with your charting? Is anything becoming clearer? x

I found temp dropped just after my AF started, so never got warning from temps either way. If you recorded a drop and no AF, I would put that down to temp taking anomalie. My first two months of charting were well up and down all over the place! Just got the hang by month 3. I found if I took temp the moment I stirred from deep sleep, no matter the time ie. if Joshua woke me at 3am, I got more consistant temps than if I waited till 6.30 when I get up. Probably because once I stirred I never got back into full REM.

Well i didnt start off too good cos, i thought the thermometer stored the temp, so i was taking it in the morning then turning it on and tracking when i logged on my computer then i realised it was the same every morning, so i looked the next day when i took it and realised it doesnt store it lol, so i had to start again yesterday, so i dont really know how it looks at the min. I am going to test on the 7th though cos i think i felt ovulation, then again week after if i get a negative and no AF. Looking at charts it is when your temp drops that AF comes so yours looks good xx

FX for you on the 7th Laura You've just had a massive rise in temp so keep an eye on it and maybe you ov'd on cd65. Or maybe it was implantation....

I'm starting to wish I had a reset button for this cycle

So if i did ovulate or had implantation does it have to stay up now then?? at the same temp or higher?

Dont worry, your chart looks good (from comparing to others) and the bleed could have been implantation xx

Yeah - post ovulation your temps want to to stay up, and then they start to dip when AF is coming (or has arrived - see Mark&Annie's post above ) - keep going! It'll start to come good - promise!

I'm hoping it's implantation, but I thought I had that on 8DPO. It's very confusing. I'm sure everyone goes through this on their first month TTC....so frustrating.

It is very frustrating, i want to know whats going off in there!! hopefully next couple of days i will see something on the chart.

did you bleed on 8dpo?? or have you just took that from the chart? x

I had creamy CM with a pinkish tinge on 8DPO which I thought might be an implantation bleed. But this morning was proper red blood - only a little bit and then it was gone.

Maybe implantation can occur for a couple of days?? with it going straight away it cant be AF surely?? you would have it for a couple of days at least wouldnt youx

It's nothing at all like AF - and last month I got really really bad cramps the day before it arrived. I'm just going to have to keep waiting until something happens either way

My biggest worry is that nothing happens and this cycle just goes on and on without AF or BFP...this is already the longest cycle I've ever had by 2 days....

but that is also a good thing cos prob means AF isnt coming cos your gonna get your BFP!! so it will be your longest cycle!

And you would know if it was you AF everyone knows with how they feel etc dont they x

The bleeding could be an irritation of the cervix, I remember reading on here somewhere that some women experience this throughout pregnancy?

Wouldn't I feel something if my cervix was irritated? Sounds very painful....I literally feel absolutely nothing out of the ordinary today - not even my dodgy kidneys are playing up!

I now have lots of pinky-brownish CM and am starting to feel a niggle in my lower stomach - almost sure that AF will be here tomorrow.

In a way I'm kinda glad - not as glad as I would have been with a - but I kinda started the whole TTC thing mid cycle, and at least I can start from the beginning and give it a good go this time. I was just wishing my cycle had a reset button this morning - looks like my wish came true

Hello, katie! I missed reading your posts on here. I'm finally back home after my trip. Good luck your symptoms sound very promising!!

Update on me - CD43 and NOTHING IS HAPPENING!!! I feel like screaming. *sigh*
As soon as AF shows up I'm taking some soy to see if I can get my ovulation to happen a lot quicker than this. I'm also going to buy a whole lot of OPK's and BBT and I'm going to go ahead and start tracking my temps now to see if I can have a clue of what's going on.
