Cerazette Help!!

Hi everyone im new to this forum so bare with me.

Myself and my hubby decided that the time was right for us to finally start trying for a lttle one and so I came off Cerazette at the start of April after taking it for around 5 years.

Since iv come off the pill iv had terrible bloating and cramps and the most painful boobies I think iv ever experienced but no period.

Has anyone else taken Cerazette and stopped it to ttc and what experiences have you had?? Also how long did it take for you to get pregant??

Im just abit worried as the doctor said that this pill comes out of your system quite quickly but nothing seems to be really happening period wise.

If nothing happens within the next moth my doctor has said that she will send me for a blood test to check my hormones so im trying not to worry .

Its just so annoying as I cant believe our time has finally come to actually try and it just seems like nothing can even happen untill I have my period. Sad

I was on the same pill, when I came off it my body basically told me I was pregnant for six months, no period, morning type sickness, etc. Hopefully you won't have the same experience. My docs told me it can take a while for cerazette to completely leave your body!

I was on cerazette for a year before coming off it in December. Me and my partner have been TTC since then!

My AF used to be like clockwork, every 30 days but now its so irregular, every 2 weeks grr! Its so hard to track OV dates and stuff which is annoying. My Dr also said it can take a while for it to completely get out of your system.

Because off my AF being SO irregular, we are just BD-ing every 3 days or so. I havent had any bleeding for 4 weeks yet so hoping its a good sign.

I came off Cerazette December and didnt have a period til April. Since then Ive had 2 40+ day cycles. I was never that regular before the pill either. I too was also convinced I was pregnant waiting for that period, with sore bbs and did intermittent pregnancy tests as a result!

I've been on cerazette and a few other types of the pill and every time I came off them I had an awful time with no periods and lots of pregnancy symptoms. Before I went on birth control (many years ago) I had average cycle lengths of 28 days and since coming off the pill they are averaging at 38 days.

Unfortunately it's just what happens as the hormone is leaving your body and your cycles begin to regulate again, but like you said it is so annoying as you want to try straight away, but there's not much trying you can do until you have your first period.
