Cervical position?

Can someone please explain to me where/how your cervix should feel at different times of the month?

When your ovulating it should be "show" soft, high, open, wet!

after af it will be low and feel hard... aproaching ov it will raise abit and start feeling abit softer.. at ovulation it will be soft high wet and open.

Also remember hun "Always check the cervix while in the same position, such as a standing, with one leg leaning against a chair or a bathtub, or crouching. Whichever position you choose, do not change it, as it could alter your observations."

I'm still having a lot of problems with checking the opening of cervix - not sure when the cervix is open...for me it seems to be closed always.
