Cervix high,soft,feels closed...but bleeding and af not due??

Ladies!! I'm sure this question has been asked before..I tried searching and there were plenty of hits but no answers..so i'll ask here, someone is always bound to know here! -started bleeding today, but shouldn't be due af for a week and half yet, so was very surprised. Also, don't feel 'periody' as usual (and I usually suffer quite badly) The blood is dark brown, just smudges if you get my drift..no clots. and also- cervix is high, soft, and feels almost closed. What might it mean?? I have been trying to tell myself it could be implantation but isn't that bright red or pink?(sure i'm just kidding myself because so disappointed) and the strange cervical position..?

My implantation bleeding was like a dark brown and then had the tiniest hint of red but only lasted a few hours so it could very well be. There are lots of ladies on here that I have read that it has lasted up to 3 days for some. Gl I hope it is ib for you!!

Thank you!! I'm trying not to hold out too much hope, because this is first month off b/c so I'm sort of expecting random bleeds. I wish I just knew what was going on, without a doubt...that would make it easier wouldn't it? it would help you get over the disappointment quicker if there weren't all the 'what ifs..'

If its your first month off b/c it could be a breakthrough bleed I haven't experienced one before as I can't take b/c but I have heard a lot of people talk about them though. It would definitely make it easier if there was a straight forward answer!! It's the same thing being in the tww it's very frustrating especially if af decides to be late but not pregnant. The female body is a complex thing!

It is my first month off b/c, but I already bled about 3 days after coming off it, and it was like a normal period..all symptoms and lasted same amount of time, which is why i'm curious about this bleed. I am taking it as something b/c related, random pill bleed...as i've been testing each day and tests are as bfn as they could be..stark stark starkers. Hate stupid waiting.

If it was ib you won't get a positive test for another 1-2 days now it usually takes any where from 3-5 days for the hcg to be high enough to get a positive test. I think mine like either 4 or 5 after my ib that I got a positive so there is still hope

Thank you I will prob do testing each morning unless the bleeding becomes heavy and red and more period like. Hell, I may even do it if it does, just because those silly little sticks are there in the drawer...

Lol so true I think that majority of women that are ttc are poasaholics lol.
Well hopefully you get your bfp! I am currently 4dpo and this is our last month trying naturally before we have to go to treatment so I have everything crossed that we are preggers this month! It seems like a lucky month though a lot of people have been getting there bfp so let's hope we are in that lucky group!
