Change of formula...constipated??

I have just changed my LO's formula and he is now constipated...(thanks for warning me wobbles or i would have been really worried) What do i do...shall i offer him water inbetween feeds?? xxx

This happened with my LO when changed him onto SMA white from gold. He got really bad constipation where he was in pain and bleeding. I changed him back over to the gold. Best thing to do is offer water whenever your baby will take it. 1 tspn of fresh orange in the bottle of water a couple times a week is good aswel, until the stools are passing normal again.

Try giving him water first thing in the morning. I had a similar problem when i changed from sma gold to white, i changed back to gold but he wasnt pooing everyday....i had to change the formula to aptamil.

Kaleas Constipated on SMA Gold, so I've swapped her to Cow and Gate. My HV said to offer water between feeds, or one in the morning before her first bottle.

don`t know if you have it over there but i ised coloxal drops that worked a treat
