well after a pretty straightforward labour and birth i had a beautiful baby boy at 11.30 this morning, 4 days early

i woke up at 6am with mild contractions coming every 3mins, wasnt sure if i was even in labour at first but after going for a wee and seeing blood realised something was happening.

got to hospital at 8am was put on a monitor, everything fine. They examined me at 9am and i was already 7cm dilated. I managed for the next 2 hours without any pain relief, then couldnt stand it any longer so opted for gas and air, which took the edge off. I was examined again at 11.15 and told i was fully dilated. The midwife then broke my waters and at 11.30 charlie was born.
