Hello everyone!

This is my first post, but I have been following this forum and benefiting from your support for months, so THANK YOU!

I'm new to charting (2nd cycle), but have been using opks for a few months. Fertility Friend originally had my O date as CD17, but now moved it to CD23.

I really hope I O'd on the 17th. Opks are never fully positive for me, but the most positive was CD16. And then I ran out. Next month, I'm starting checking CM and cervix. I also had ovulation pain.

A little info: I have irregular cycles, so O at CD17 or CD23 is possible. I've been taking levothyroxibe 25mcg for 6 weeks for hypothyroidism, which could explain the slow rise in bbt.

So when do you think I O'd?

Thank you :)

TTC since November 2014

Generally I'd say FF knows best but just looking at your temps I would definitely say CD17 is clearly ovulation. Theres a clear temp shift upwards and it stays up. There is another temp shift at CD23 but that could be a triphasic chart or just a secondary temp surge.

How many days is your LP normally?

Did you remove something to make FF go back to saying CD17?

I have been driving myself crazy actually. I went back through my browsing history, because I remembered that I tried to check my cervix, but I couldn't find it. Turns out that was CD16. I read that during ovulation, it's so high and soft that is hard to distinguish. It moved down a few days later to where I always remembered it being.

My LP is usually 14 days, so I have a couple more days to wait and see, though my hopes aren't high.

TTC is such a great way to learn about your body. Guess it's the silver lining!

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm driving DH crazy too, so I appreciate the second opinion.

TTC really does open your eyes to all the cool and clever things your body does without your realising. I never realised that I had EWCM every month til I read about it on here and saw it around ovulation - crazy how I didn't spot that before.

Best of luck to you- have you taken a pregnancy test?

I did take a test actually. I had ordered more OPK's and they came with dip strip type pregnancy tests. It was actually the first time I've ever taken one, even all these months later.

BFN, of course. I thought I would feel disappointed, but I actually feel better knowing. I always feel stupid hoping, so at least this cuts off 2 days of it. Sorry to be so dark.

The blue handled ones? I find them pretty awful. When I fell pregnant with my son back In 2011 they were fab, really reliable and good lines when I got pregnant. This time however I fell pregnant I January, was getting clear lines on first response tests and digital tests but nothing on those cheap blue handle dip strip ones. Lost all faith in them!

Good luck to you. Hope you get your positive soon

Yeah, the blue handled ones! Good thing they were very inexpensive!

Thanks again for your input!

I did miscarry in January but don't think that had anything to do with it. You'd think dipping the blue handle one in same pee as I got a positive digi would at least get a faint line but nope!

I'm due to ovulate shortly so fingers crossed for both of us!

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I wish you luck for this cycle.

My period showed up on time today, so at least we know those cheapie tests can detect a negative properly. Lol I've had two FRER tests socked away for some time, but haven't had a chance to use them yet. Only bringing out those puppies out at 15dpo, too expensive to waste!
