I Need help!!
ME:
2nd cycle of Clomid (5-9) 50mg.
CD 11/12 EWCM (Negative OPKs everyday)- not temping

CD 21 POSITIVE OPK- VERY POSITIVE (BD 1 x)

CD 22 -Fainter but STILL POSITIVE OPK (BD 2x)
CD 22- Blood test (Progesterone level = .4)
CD 23- (BD 1x)

I am now CD 24 & my doctor says the Clomid is probably not working- as my progesterone levels are low .4. HOWEVER.....I didn't get a positive OPK until CD 21, and on CD 22 is when I took the blood test. He wants to test blood again in one week.

Q- What are normal progesterone levels AT THE SAME TIME as ovulation?
Did I ovulate late? Could the OPK be wrong? Should I BD today, 3 days after positive OPK or am I ok?

I am SO UPSET because my SD will be gone next month. I will have to skip a month.

Follicular phase <1.5ng/ml
Mid-Luteal Phase >15 ng/ml
First Trimester 10-90 ng/ml
Second Trimester 25-90 ng/ml
Third Trimester 49-423 ng/ml

It sounds to me like your body is trying to ovulate, but failing to do so...

The OPK detected the LH surge, but it does not mean you will ovulate.....

Did your doctor speak to you about being underweight and how that will impact your hormone levels?....low estrogen and low progesterone?

I think its rather likely that your progesterone level was low because you had not ovulated again. I have heard that clomid sometimes causes later ovulation, but don't know how true that is.. I hope you were able to BD during the time you got your ++ opk.
