Cheers to BFPs in 2-0-1-6!

Abennion - your trip sounds amazing! Sorry you're in so much pain though! :( Hope that goes away ASAp for you :(

AFM - 10dpo, bfn and temp went down a bit today. If it goes down tomorrow (due tomorrow or the next day) I'd say I'm out :( If it goes up, however, that'll be the best sign ever!

My brother and his wife had their third boy last night too so can't wait for baby cuddles with him this weekend :)

abennion - I was thinking the same thing. That makes me sad because EWCM is all dried up now and if I O tomorrow or any time later, my LP will be way too short :(

Unless my Tue morning temp was higher than it should have been, but that's a stretch. If anything, my Wed morning temp was higher than it should've been because I slept crappily. Only other interfering factor I can think of is that I've had a UTI for a few weeks now and went on antibiotics over the weekend. I'm pretty sure the infection is still lingering despite finishing the course, though. Even though I haven't had fever per se, apparently infection can still affect temps. Also, I found **one**(!) chart that had a dip below the ovulation temp two days after ovulation and it was definitely still ovulation because it ended in a BFP. Again, I think it's still a stretch and I should probably not keep my hopes up.

Yesterday I called the fertility clinic and was able to schedule my first appointment. Because their main doctor jumps between two clinics (one is over an hour from me and one is ~ 20 minutes) and I wanted to do afternoon appointment so I don't have to get a sub for my classes I had some trouble getting scheduled. It wouldn't have been an issue but we have so many other appointments scheduled this month that every earlier opening they had would have been a conflict with something I Couldn't reschedule (like my root canal :/ )

Anyway, that gives me this cycle to see what happens because by the time I go in I should be at the beginning of next cycle if no BFP.

Checked with insurance and they will cover diagnostic and testing up until a diagnosis is made. the minute a diagnosis of infertility is made, the insurance will no longer pay for any tests or treatment. Hoping it comes up to be something as simple as needing progesterone or something instead. Otherwise this could be a very expensive route.

At least I have an appointment though.

Hi there!
We have been TTC for almost 6 months now with no luck. I took a PT this morning and I thought I saw a faint line, but it could also be an indent. Would anyone be willing to look at it for me?? Thanks :)

I sophiedaphne! I'd love to take a look, and I'm sure other here would too :)

Hi girls, just checking in <3 The laparoscopy went well yesterday, I wrote all about it in my journal if anyone is interested, link is in my signature! Long story short, it was pretty quick in the OR but took time with preadmission testing and in the PACU (post anesthesia care unit). I have a follow up appointment with my RE in two weeks, hopefully the plan will still be Provera (if needed, hopefully I'll get AF on my own by then) and then onto Clomid! Yay! I'm feeling quite positive about the Clomid since my OAR (ovarian assessment report) came back excellent/above average for response to stimulation. But for now, dealing with pain and nausea and hoping to return to work Tuesday at a low pain level. Hoping my :bfp: is soon!

What's new with everyone here?! I've been wondering about you all. <3 :friends:

Glad it went well Wifey!!

AFM - CD10, I'm still getting low on my Digi's. Last cycle I O'd at CD13, but the cycle before it was CD18, so I'm unsure as to when I will O this month. Plus we are under some substantial stress at the moment dealing with trying to remove my DH"s crazy, drug addict felon uncle from the property that we inherited that we've been trying to clean up to sell. He broke in, and has been squatting there and we have to take him to court ot have him removed :/ It's a mess. Court is Tuesday, so until then we are all a little on edge. :(

Eesh, Angel, I was wondering what was happening with that. So will the court case finally decide whether he can be evicted? How long will he have if that happens? I know you mentioned something about it taking a long time, but not sure if that was in ref to the court date.

Glad lap was OK wifey

Sounds like a nightmare Angel. Hope you get him out ASAP

So when he broke back in and moved himself in we couldn't remove him without an eviction notice because that address was his residence before he went to jail and we apparently were required tos end him an official eviction notice to the jail when the property switched to us. He did get a verbal notice about it and he got several letters regarding the situation just not the official eviction because we didn't htink that was an issue. He had told us he wasn't coming back to this town anyway when he got out of jail.

So we filed the official eviction notice, then the court had to assign a court date. now we go to court and the court will determine if he does indeed have to leave, and if the 24-hour eviction was adequate or if we have to give him longer. If they determine in our favor then he gets 4 days to get out. Which is a little annoying because we gave a 24 hour notice, then it took 2 weeks for court, then he gets 4 more days after court. Ugh. But then on the 4th day we have to go back with the police and can physically remove him from the property.

If they don't rule in our favor the most he'll get is a 90 day notice to leave, because the property is legally my husbands now and he does have the right to make him leave. It comes down to whether he has to give him 90 days or not, even though the house right now is completely uninhabitable. There's no working kitchen, no heat source, and only 1 toilet that sort of works. It's a serious mess - we've been working to get it back together since his uncle's girlfriend and all their drug addict friends trashed the place over the last year.

It's a mess. :/ blah.

Gosh, what a rigmarole. I'm sorry to hear that. At least by Tuesday you should know what will happen. Is there pressure to get the house sorted out and resold, or is it still okay if it takes three months in the worst case scenario?

Wifey - i'm glad the procedure went well!

Angel - what a nightmare! So sorry you have to deal with all that, hopefully your court date on Tuesday brings you some relief!

AFM - Well I expected to get my AF over the weekend, instead my temp went up again! And up again this morning. Still testing negative, though I think I have line eye and saw a shadow this morning. Trying not to get my hopes up, maybe my whacky cycle is giving me a longer than 10 day LP this time around. Day 13 today!

Here is my chart, see the dip two days ago, do you girls reckon that could be a implantation dip? Or should I stop reading into things!

My Ovulation Chart

well there is some pressure to get the house sorted out and sold because the property taxes on the house is over $2,000 and we don't have that kind of cash sitting around. plus once we get it fixed up and sold that extra money we were going to use to pay off bills and hopefully get started on our own addition to our house. If it takes 3 months to get it sorted out we are liable to not have a house when we come back. Today we went out there to take pictures and make sure our property hadn't been too damaged and he basically told us it doesn't matter how court goes, we aren't getting the house back and he'll go to prison again first.

Sheece Keeping FX for you!!! Hopefully it was just late implantation so that's why you don't have a + yet.

What a horrible man!! I hope they put him in prison straight away then when the verdict comes in :/

Ooooo good luck Sheece! How exciting!

AFM: well, despite telling myself I wasn't going to temp I caved this morning. Looks like I've O'd. Temp was 98.2 so I'll assume I'm probably 1 DPO today. Earliest I've ever O'd is CD17 so that would make sense because I'm CD18 today.

abennion - I don't blame you, I was considering not temping next cycle but I've already talked myself out of it :haha:

Well temp is still high today, although it did go down a touch, and I thought i saw a shadow on my frer this morning but it doesnt show in photos so who knows what's going on. DPO 14 today and I haven't made it to DPO 14 since 2012 - I made it to DPO 17 then but I am pretty sure I had a chemical that cycle. Same shadowy lines on test according to my notes. Fingers crossed this progresses to something, I'm going batty thinking I should have a positive test by now!

That was like me last month Sheece - made it to 17DPO without AF showing. Hopefully this is your sticky!

I hate temping and I'm not great at it. Going to give it one cycle just to see if any obvious things jump out but with opks, fertility monitor and bloods at gp I should pretty much know what my body is doing anyway!

Hmmm, not sure how I feel about temping either. At first I was excited, and then I was really, really anxious about possibly not ovulating, and then I was kind of content but with some trepidation (my current state). But I have to say I find it kind of fun to hear the beep and see what the temp reading is... probably until it's disappointing. And admittedly I keep getting annoyed by how the real temps are probably higher or lower based on seemingly endless factors... and Lord knows I've spent way too much time browsing other people's charts. WAY too much time. On the other hand, I'm liking that it confirmed O, as I was very worried even with a +OPK. Aaaanyway, sorry about this stream of consciousness...

Sheece, if you test again and see something, post it! And fingers crossed!

Jezica it's like you're in my head. I swear this is basically how the last week has gone for me (I've decided to temp this cycle and use OPK's)
