Hey ladies,
just need to vent... I have had THE WORST DAY EVER... it started at about 8:30 this am, i went to get my one and only coat on and found that my pain in the ass puppy had chewed one of the sleves practically off! Was a cold walk to school :-(

Came home had a cuppa and the post arrives.... I got two letters one from csa FINALLY I thought! Only to find that they have decided that foc doesn't have to pay a darn thing, its complete and utter lunacy... my two girls are 11 and 8 me and their dad haven't been together for about 8yrs after all of This time struggling and him refusing to help me out a little finacially I decided to go to csa. Before we split he had an accident at work and lost a finger, at the time he applied for industrial injuries benefit and got it. He works full time and is on about 30k a year! But because he has them over 52 nights a year and gets a state benefit he doesn't have to pay a darn thing towards his girls, i mean WTH!? how can this be right!?!

The second letter, to add insult to injury, was from DWP... i have to go in for a interview next week now the letter suggests to me that its a investigation into benefit fraud, i have to take loads of documents with me 3months of bank statments ect. Im not worried about this as i have nothing to hide I don't even have a partner let alone have anyone living with me and i bloody well wish i did work, maybe then I could buy myself some food to eat over the weekend! Sigh... im just so hurt that someone would be that malicious... i keep myself to myself, i bother no one! :-(

Final nail in the coffin I went to the shop to get dinner for tonight only to find i have had bank charges and been left £15... that went on dinner and pack lunch stuff i get nothing until tuesday. I have no more food left either, luckily the girls go to their dads this weekenfso they will be ok, just don't know how im going to feed them on monday... and there's foc being all smug earlier because he doesn't have to pay me anything for them :-( argh i could scream my lungs out and cry a bucket. Just feel so god dam alone and lonely i need a hug :-(

ah that really is a shitty day :(

Just look at things one by one, firstly the bank, call them up and ask them about the charges, if you can kick up a fuss they might reimburse you ive had that done before.

secondly, just dont worry about the benefit thing, if you have nothing to hide dont worry :)

and csa, keep calling them, pestering them, threaten a newpaper story or something thats not fair at all!!

I know im not worried about it, i guess I just feel really hurt that someone would be so dpiteful :-(

Im gonna phone csa later, im not sure how far it will get me but still i will give it a bash :-P today has to be a better day today right? Lol thanks for ur reply x

can you not get a crisis loan from the jobcentre to help you out till tuesday?

have you got any friends and family to help you out?

if you maybe go into the branch they might be able to help you out a bit more than the call centre people.

its been a shit day for you hun but they say bad things come in 3's and you have had your 3 so keep positive! :hugs:

Oh hun that really was a crap day. CSA are absolutely useless. Is there anyone you can borrow some money from to eat for the weekend? Massive :hugs:

Try not to worry.....my husband is on benefit at the moment as he is recovering from cancer, we had an unannounced knock at the door from dwp....the man went through everything with a fine tooth comb and I was worried sick that someone had though we were commiting some sort of fraud, hence the visit. The man went through all our bank and money details for last year.....all transactions...... child benefit , housing benefit, checked our birth, marriage certificates and passports!!!!!! He assured us we had nothing to worry about (I knew we had nothing to hide but still couldnt help but worry as it was rather intimidating) in fact we found out we were not getting enough benefit as we should be so it was a blessing in disguise......about 2 hours later and after answering about 100 questions he went ....that was september and it was fine, apparantly they are doing this to all claimants to make sure they are getting the right amounts and not commiting fraud. The CSA are useless....my ex husband has got away without paying anything for our son (divorced when he was 1) for 12 years now....he has his own company and he did own 3 houses (i left with nothing ....thats another story) Ive given up, he hasnt seen our son for 13 years now he is coming up 15. I have appealed 3 times. I have had a couple of days like this and I always seem to get any worrying letters on a saturday afternoon when I cant deal with it !!!!!!! Hope it gets sorted soon :hugs:

If you really can't afford your bank charges, and they put you in financial hardship, you need to speak to your bank again and tell them that. I work in banking, and if someone claims financial hardship with regards to bank charges its a completely different ball game to someone disputing them / asking for them to be taken off. All the banks deal with it differently, but the FSA ask that all banks take Financial hardship into consideration. I hope that helps :hugs:

ditto this. a while back my sis was on IS and her bank tool ALL her money for charges, and she went in to see them and there is a certain amount they had to leave her with or something, just that they could not take all her money and leave her over drawn then charge that again or something.

Thanks for all your replys ladies, You've all been a great help xxxxx

*hugs* hope you're feeling better now! Did you sort out some food?

CSA are a bloody joke! E's dad compeltly rips off the system and employs his little tart and pays here a stupid salary just so he doesnt have to pay child support...

Hope you're days have brightened up slightly!
