hi just wondering if any1 knows how long it takes for child benefit to come through i receive it now for my other children but i really cannot remember

Usually takes about a month and its all backdated to when the LO was born so youll get a wee lump sum! i didnt apply till Kaiden was about a month and then it took a month to process so I had it backdated for 2 months and got 1000 but that was tax creds, workin tax creds and fam allowance!!
