we currently recieve child benefit and tax credits totalling £80 a month. as im going back to work more or less full time (full week but bit shorter days) we would like to put jacob in a nursery 1 day a week so he can mix with other children.
i have rung up tax ppl today and asked if we can have any help towards child care as the £80 a month we get will no where near cover child care costs plus other outgoings for jacob - nappies etc. they have turned round and said we arent able to get anything to help as that is what the benefits we get go towards.
just windered if any one else has experienced this, i thought we could get help with nursery costs?
