Choosing names before even pg...

Do most people do this?, i find it keeps me positive and i love doing it. But sometimes people look at me strange when i say we already are choosing names.

Also, i worry posting on here for opinions on names when we are still ttc . Not that anyone on here has made me feel awkward, you have all been lovely .

Just curious.

Go for it!! I picked out my first child's name when i was about 14 and didn't have babies for many years after that but when i did, i stuck to my several year (by that stage) plan. If you know you want to have babies, you can start planning anytime you like.

yep we've done it, and we're not even ttc yet we had our boy's name chosen since we'd been together a few months and we had chosen a girl name, but we changed that when our daughter was born
we now have the same boy name chosen, nearly for 5 years! and have chosen another girl name

We have a list and a few definate favourites, and we arent ttc till next year, so dont feel bad! x

Don't feel bad at all! I won't be having kids for yeaaars, but I'm a total name nerd and love thinking about what I'd call my kids!

Right now I'm loving Margaret Rosemary for a girl and Joseph David for a boy. A bit old-fashioned, but I love it.

OH and I have our baby names pretty much sorted...and we still have 2+ years until we start trying! Plus one of the names (Teigan) I've wanted since I was 14!

I have a very long list but we are 100% set on Leo Matthew for a Boy not sure for a girl! I love the name Jayme-Leigh i used to name my fav barbie it when i was little lol x

We have a long list of first & middle names picked, I think it gives us just a little something to look forward to in the future. Whether we end up choosing these names when we do have children is another story lol

I have collected favorite names for years now. Pretty sure I've already got a name picked out if I have a girl.

We haven't got names chosen but we think and talk about them A LOT. I have been talking about baby names since I was 14. LOL! We have a list of our top 10 for both gender. Now we just need to narrow them down. ;D I do have a favourite 3 for each.
