This sounds terrible but I forgot to put Jessicas name on all the presents I wrapped. They all say "LOVE NIK AND SHAUN" in nice big writing and then squashed in the corner it says '& Jess'.

Poor baby, you forgot all about her! Not really.. I did that, I was writing a birthday card for someone whilst Tegan was still in hospital and I swear I missed her name off, the envelope was sealed and I had to open it back up..

Lol so pleased I'm not the only one! I felt terrible when I realised, it's just cos it's their first xmas eh, we're not really having memory loss lol xXx

Lol, OH is not finding it so funny And I'm sure the family won't when we turn up, greatfully accept their gifts and mention ours got lost in the post. Yes, all 14 of them.. I keep meaning to buy things for everyone else but see somethin nice for Tegan instead so think 'oh I'll get blah blah's prezzie next week.. well next week came and went, there are 4 weeks left and ARRRGH The baby and the cat are sorted and I think I better write to santa quick! Lol

I'm forever writing the cards, sealing them and thinking - Who's card was this again - having to open it and use another envolope to put their name on

I always wondered why people just sign the card and don't bother with the 'To' names - now i know why!!

.. I used to pride myself on what an excellent memory I had, but now I forget the stupidest things, I literally need to make notes of everything so I remember to do things, what time appointments are at, if I've called this person or that person.

Oh, and I always forget if I've sent texts out, so I have to check my sent mail folder in my phone so I don't resend things hehe.

I had the best memory brfore I was preg. If someone asked where something was I could tell ya in an instant. anything in the house. You know.. things you put away for years.. I knew exactly where etc. I would never miss an appointment. never forget anything. When I was pregnant it started to change... and now... 3 years on.. I have the worst memory in the world. seriously. I read somewhere that the hormones given off when pregnant with girls 'can' effect memory. Mine has never returned. I sometimes cry because of it its that bad maybe I should go to the docs really because of the dramatic change. Not a lot they can do tho I suppose.

infact.. adding to this, I didnt know the sex of my baby because the scan could not show. Due to my memory being so bad I was convinced it was a girl after reading that about hormones and having girls... and I was right. would be interesting to look into that actually. Any mothers of boys that have noticed a dramatic change in memory since being pregnant? (sorry wobs I have totally changed the direction of your thread with this, whoops )

Nothing gone wrong yet, well, except putting on my dads card to dad from yvonne (my mothers name). I dont even know why, probably because my brain was rebelling after 4 hours of wrapping and writing tags lmao.

Last year was terrible though i was putting presents out and everything was set and me and mam went to bed and in the morning my little cousin (her family were staying at my mams too) Heather just stared crying, telling us santa must hate her and that he'd forgot her, we'd left her presents in bags under the stairs hadnt we, including her new bike so we had to pretend that santa had left them there for her (they were all wrapped thank god) as a surprise treasure hunt type thing, she was only 4 aswell bless her. i felt horrible
