Christmas Eve Gift Bag

HI there

I have decided to make us a family present for Christmas Eve. I have bought a lovely big bag and my idea was to put some treats in for the 3 of us for the 24th. So far I have bought new jammies for the 3 of us, Dear Santa by Rod Campbell, a Christmas DVD to watch with Emma, a bottle of fizz and a box of chocolates for Andy and I later.

Any ideas of anything else to pop in? Have bought a muckle bag and it looks a wee bit sad and empty!!!

Hot water bottles, camera to take some pictures to remember a lovely Christmas Eve (not necessarily a new camera), little packet of 'reindeer food' for Emma to sprinkle outside for Rudolph.

Lovely idea of putting it all in a bag. We are all having new jammies have got lo a Christmas book that lights up.

You could add a book, a teddy, popcorn for your DVD, a nice Christmassy smelling candle to light while you are watching your film

Darren's birthday is on Christmas even so after the hustle & bustle of the day it will be nice to have some family time and settle

This is gonna be one of the traditions I'm going to start this year as my eldest can understand these stuff now. I will wait for the kids to be playing somewhere and get the door bell to ring. Get the kids to open the door with me and there we'll find a box wrapped with paper and celloophane. Inside I planned on putting new pjs, letter from santa asking to put some magic reindeer food by the door, a new toiletry set made up of personalised peppa flannel, toothbrush toothpaste for my girl and all thomas the tank for my boy, socks for both (fav cartoon characters), and a santa type chocolate, and of course a dvd (the snowman). Cant wait to see their faces

hi,

our magic elf leaves us a bag of bits - there are:

bubble bath
new pjs for kids
bag of haribo type sweets
box of chocs for me n OH
a dvd
magic key for santa - was 1 from my old flat so wont open any doors if anyone gets in garden
reindeer food - oats and crushed sweets (so not harmful if birds eat it)

plus a note telling them to get their xmas fleecy blankets to snuggle up in!
