The kids open their hamper on Xmas eve from our elf Steve, as he goes home when they go to bed :cloud9:

Last year he left them;

PJ's
Xmas colouring books
Bath things - 2 new ducks, flannels, toothbrushes.
Xmas mug
Hot chocolate sachets
Marshmallows
Xmas DVD
Xmas stories
Xmas sweets/chocolate

What do you put in yours?

Same as you but include a cuddly teddy like a santa this year its a reindeer. Last year we included a fondue set and dip our xmas marshmallows in chocolate. It was such a hit.

I've never done one before I'm excited to.
Not sure what to include though for my son who will be 18 months old x

We did it last year for Sam and he was around that age..

I put it all in a bag that had his name on it from ebay and included:

Christmas book
Peppa Pig Christmas DVD
Winter PJ's
Night Garden Dressing Gown
Winter socks
a couple of bath toys
bubble bath
small chocolate

We gave it to him early evening so he could watch the dvd and have the small chocolate - gave him a bath with new toys and then put him to bed with his new pj's and read the christmas book.

Going to do something fairly similar this year but will all be Thomas the tank engine based I think because he is just a little obsessed.

Could add in a Christmas Puzzle to do as well

Great ideas, I love it, lots of excitement.

This year our elf is bringing a girlfriend  so I'd like to do something special to introduce her??
