Random one but as a photographer I’m thinking of doing Christmas photos for family for Xmas as they have everything and I don’t want to get things that will be shoved in a cupboard, I get told ‘oh don’t worry about it’ we don’t need anything but then it will be ‘oh, she never bothered’

Can you recommend something to go with the photo to make a nice gift?

That’s a very sweet & generous idea! That’s giving time & thought. I would love the gift of family photos!
I like making things in the kitchen. Jarred things like candied almonds or something could be done. Those are nice to munch on or throw in salads or on sweet potatoes, but most people dont usually make them for themselves.

Thank you, I’m still a fairly new photographer so improving everyday. Usually I don’t give photos for Xmas as I share them all year round but sadly this year is tighter due to camera gear costing me a fortune lol

Depending on your budget, what about turning them into a calendar?

That’s a good idea actually. I mostly do dance photography and portraits but I could defo consider calendars x

I think a calendar is a good idea or a photobook

I normally give the kids school photo to my Nan for Christmas (as there is nothing else to give her !) and usually include a tin of her favourite biscuits

Oh, now i understand what you’re looking for. I thought you meant a small gift to accompany the photos.
Calendar is definitely a nice idea.

Kind of either really, either a framed photo and gift or a gift made with photos x
