So I know I need to stay off google but I just want a piece of coffee cake and wondered if i can have it because of the cinnamon? Anyone heard this one?
some sites say it can cause behavior issues some say it can cause early labor i guess, But I'm only seven weeks pregnant and I want coffee cake! Like I said I need to just listen to what the doctor tells me and leave the internet alone before I make mysel crazy!
cinnamon is on the list of stuff I was given to avoid, but I asked the MW and she said as long as it's in moderation (ie. not by the bucket load) it's fine. I love cinnamon and go to Ikea just to buy the frozen cinnamon rolls, so I was glad it wasn't a total ban
Haven't heard anything about cinnamon. But I suppose if you eat a load of anything its probably not good. I think sometimes the whole food avoidance thing gets taken to the extreme. I will see what I can find about cinnamon now I am curious????
I've read that too, but it was specifically larger amounts. Smaller amounts are fine. I've had cinnamon several times so far in this pregnancy, including early on, and my doctor and dietitian both are aware and unconcerned.
I read this thread earlier and HAD to have cinnamon toast lol..so ive had 4 pieces today lol...cinnamon in huge amounts i heard isnt good, but eh..whatever...my mom ate it allthe time.
