Sophie just has a sleepsuit and sleeping bag at the moment. I put her in a clean sleepsuit every night and change the sleeping bag every 3-4 days. In winter when she has a vest on too i put a clean one on each night.
Abigail hasn't worn a vest to bed since May. When the weather gets cool again I will put her in a vest at night. Probably the same one she has been wearing all day. I don't see the point in creating washing and can't see what is gained from a clean vest at night time.
I always do as we bath him every night too - besides if you could see the state of him right now eating his tea you'd know why he needs a bath every night and therefore a vest change!! Hehe. He rips bibs off and even if he did leave it on he gets his grubby hands all over him when he eats so we only put him in a vest when he does!
baby doesn't wear a vest at night-time at the mo as she is quite a hot baby... she just wears a sleepsuit. It is always a clean one though. I will use a vest as well when it gets colder...
I didn't when she was tiny as I didn't bath her every night then (or I would have done as post bath clean clothes makes sense) and she just didn't do anything to get dirty (obviously an explosive pooh changed that from time to time! it's also such a faff trying to change the vests on tint babies - she hated anything going over her head and scared the crap out of me crying everytime. Obviously I changed it daily but I dreaded it!
Now she has a bath every night and is always a grubby little monkey smothered in food and anything else she can get her mitts on lol. So when winter rolls round again I will definitely change her vest each night. I see no point till lo's are getting messy though.
Like the others said, why create unnecessary washing.
I put a clean one on every night (when she's wearing them). At the moment she's only in a sleepsuit but that's clean each day as well. It's just a habit I suppose - have done it since day 1.
