cleaning activity mat

we got katie the most gorgeous play mat/activity gym type thing. its a pink and blue kaloo one and is just so lovely! but there's one thing i didnt realise when i bought it, its bloody hand wash only!

we washed it when we first got it, bu it took forever to dry cos it wasnt spun etc.

katie's thing when she has her tummy time is to try and eat whatever's underneath her, and the mat's getting a bit grubby from being on the floor all the time.

i really dont want to have to wash it again, does anyone have any ingenious ways of cleaning it?

i was htinkinof rubbing an antibacterial wipe over it, but dont know if that would work!

I wipe with a damp cloth and then hoover Poppy's.

I'd say hoover it and then wipe it over with hot soapy water. Other than that i'd take it to the dry cleaners (can be expensive though) xxx

I clean the playpen mat with a warm damp cloth and vanish spray (on the cloth) with her play mats I only used baby wipes and would frebreeze it along other stuff (my carpet etc).
