Clear Blue Easy Digitial Versus First Response Gold

Has anyone used a First Response Gold? I have both of them at my house and wanted to use a digital test to be sure - Clear Blue Easy came back positive; the First Response Gold negative.

All other 2 line tests are positive?

We wanted to tell our parents tonight but I've had 2 First Response Golds both come back negative while everything else is coming back positive?

First Response Gold takes longer to pick up the HCG. Whereas the line tests are probably more sensitive...You may have to wait a few more days for the HCG levels to go up before you will get a positive on the digital tests. Also are any of the line tests pink dye test? Blue dye tests can sometimes give false positives or evaps. I had that happen to me 2 cycles, each time I wasn't pg. If you get two lines with a pink dye test, you're definitely pg. Just wait a few more days, I know it sucks, for it to show up on the digital. lol

I used a First Response with 2 pink lines and it was positive. I have gotten a positive using Clear BLue Easy Digitial but I got a negative with the First Response Gold - which is weird because the person at Clear Blue Easy hotline said their sensitivity was 50 and up?

Whaaa?! how odd.

I called the company and they're sending me out a coupon because both tests came back no/negative but yet the line First Response was a faint positive line.

I've tested with other types also and gotten positives, EPT +/- test, CVS line blue dye test, Clear Blue Easy digital and First Response Early line pink dye

Weird but I don't think I'll purchase the FR GOld again
