Clear blue OPK help please!

I use CB Dual Hormone OPK's and usually get 4 or 5 flashy smiley faces before a solid one. This month however I'm confused!

I got a empty circle this morning using FMU on CD13. I then noticed lots of EWCM when I went to the toilet 5 hours later so decided to test again and got a solid smiley face. Then I tested again 2 hours later and got an empty circle!

What's going on? I'm so confused. I normally get a solid smiley face on around cd14-19 but only after flashing faces. I did have a chemical last cycle and my period lasted a few more days than normal, but not sure if this can cause this.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

My chemical and miscarriage were both a couple of years ago but I remember the first cycle after each was abnormal. Both cycles were much shorter. Even on a normal cycle I do remember having one month where I went straight to a solid smiley w/out the flashing smiley faces.

Thanks, it's still a solid smile this morning. DTD last night so will give it another go tonight to try and catch that egg! ☺

I have just been part of ClearBlue's clinical trial. I was expecting an empty circle followed by flashing smileys followed by a solid smiley that stays for 2 days. I was a little concerned when I didn't get the flashing smileys at all. They did say that if your hormone levels change drastically you could miss the flashing smiley.
