Clear Turtle?? UPDATE - CONFIRMED!

We had an early scan at 13+5 and going back at 15+5 (Saturday) for confirmation. The tech was pretty confident it's a little boy in there because there was a "clear turtle". What do you guys think??

Hrm... At that age both boys and girls will have prominent "nubs" that are hard to tell apart. The angle they sit at is supposed to be the biggest difference, and this nub is parallel to the spine-- which would indicate girl. (A nub angled up away from the spine would indicate a boy.) I can't be sure, though, because I have no firsthand the experience with boy ultrasounds. I'm working on girl number three.

We were supposed to confirm today and the little turd was first doing gymnastic and head stands then sat straight down on his butt with legs crossed! We have to go back next Saturday

As someone else said, at this stage they all have nubs. It's the 'angle of the dangle' you really look at. It's pretty parallel to the spine which would suggest I can't make out the skull really to tell what that looks like. Hope baby cooperates next time!

Looks to me too...at 13 weeks they could clearly tell my son was a boy...but I know that girls can also protrude in early stages of pregnancy
