Hello everyone,

My body is usually like clockwork and I have a 28/29 day cycle. My AF is now 6 days late. I have used both a cheapie HPT plus today I used a Clearblue digital test and both were BFN.

Has anyone gotten a BFN using a Clearblue digital but actually been pregnant?

With two BFN I'm doubting I am pregnant but my period is never ever late, so I'm trying not to have a glimmer of hope.

My fiance and I have been ttc #1 for 9 months now.

Thanks ladies xx

There are a few reasons why AF can be late. My experience a few yrs ago was low iron. Iron is a mineral naturally found in the human body but in small amts and needs to be replenished a lot either with diet(green leafy veges, dried fruit, red meat like steak) or supplements such as iron supplements, pre natals(you don't have to be preg to take these), or multi vtiamins. AF was 2 weeks late with me because I had a low iron count and once I took multi vitamins AF came 2 days later. Another biggy is stress. Stress can delay AF big time. Also if you are on birth control and if you keep going on and off your birth control can also throw off AF. As far what tests to use all of my friends use First Response because its accurate and the most sensitive(it can show a BFP as early as 6 days before your missed period). Don't stress too much and relax :) Have fun :) HTH :)

I know with the clearblue digitals it can take a while to show a positive compared to other pregnancy tests so if you have the money, would you be able to get an FRER?

Wishing you all the best x
