Clearblue easy fertility monitor

Hey everyone, I posted this in the ttc forum, but then thought this might be a better place. Anyway, i got the cbefm this cycle and did a hard reset on cd3. It had the battery icon, but it said change within 4 weeks so I didnt worry. Today, cd6, I poas and tried to turn the monitor on, but it wouldn't power on, so I changed the batteries, turned it on, and it still says cd 5! I don't know what to do! Any help or info would be awesome!
