Clearblue no control line

I took a clearblue today and a positive showed straight away but then no control line came up so I had to chuck it in the bin. I'm going to re test in the morning after I go to the shop.

What do you think are the chances that I'm pg. I've had a dud test before but never with a positive symbol always either negative or nothing.

The blue + sign is very clear so not evap or anything.

How frustrating though really! Serves me right for taking a test before my period is due ( i reckon it's due either tomorrow or day after, or could have been due two days ago if I got on my last cycle of only 26 days.)

interesting, I would retest. I would use a frer. I know with me around 5 weeks of pregnancy with a frer the test side would show but not the control. It was just because of the amount of hcg and dye. I done it last pregnancy and this time around, pretty neat.
are you sure the af you had was an af or? You could be pregnant, because tests don't pick up on the positive side unless there is indeed hcg in the system. Did you say you had that type of test do that befor?

perhaps buy another clearblue from a different store, see if it does it to, but do pick up a frer and post pics. I want to say congrats, but ill wait till you retest fx.

Thanks for your reply. My last af was 13th jan I think and that cycle was only 26 days long, the one before was 28 days long.

Yeah I've had a clearblue test where the control line didn't show before but I didn't get a + in the other window.

I think I may try another brand tomorrow. I've fished the test out the bin and the control line is now there but faint and the + is very strong.

Here is my test from 24dpo I was about 5ish weeks. Notice the test line is there nice and BRIGHT but the control line is almost unnoticeable...I included the test I done 9 days prior. Notice the line is almost disappearing on the control side. I hope this is what its done for you, would be so nice to have that as a bfp !

i think it could be a good sign
usually if there is a lot of hcg, the test line will soak up most of the dye in the test, not leaving any for the control
try an frer that just has two lines (! !) or one ( !)
