Clearblue OV Positive and Negative in 1 day

Hi everyone,

I have a cycle of about 28 to 32 days but it is normally around 29-30 days. This month I started using the Clearblue Digital Ovulation test. So, this is what happened:

CD11 tested at 13h00 and it was negative. We BD that afternoon 14h00
CD12 tested at 13h30 and it gave me a smiley face. Seemed early and I was disappointed that we bd the day before. Took another test 17h00 and it was negative. Another test at 23h00 also negative - Whats up with that? We BD anyway - also used preseed this time.

Has anyone had that before, I dont understand this Ovulation test giving me 2 different results in one day. Has anyone else had that before? Can it give you a false positive? Anyway if it is a true positive we did bd that same day, I hope thats good enough. Should I carry on testing in the coming days?

It might be that you just caught the end of your surge. If you get another positive in a day or so, it may have been that your body tried to ovulate and didn't and is trying again xx

Sometimes the surge is just 12 hours
