I took 50 mgs for 1 cycle. Now Im on my second cycle with 100 mgs. I take it CD 3-7. I should test around around Feb 20th or so. Is this ur first round of Clomid? Good luck! I doubt it will work this cycle for me. My LP is short, so we will prob have to lengthen it next cyle then try again. How long have u been TTC? Ive been TTC almost 20 months.

I took clomid for 3 cycles in 2011,3 in 2012 took a break and now first cycle in 2013,I hope 3 times the charm,keep us updated

I'm on my 3rd cycle and taking the 4th pill tonight (details in my signature).
I've had the heaviest AF I've ever had since we started TTC (I didn't get periods before that as I had the implant), I'm hoping it's a sign that I ovulated like my chart said I did. LP would only have been 8 days though which is worrying

I'm out this cycle due to a cyst. Next cycle should start around Jan 30-31. I've been taking 50mg Clomid on days 3-7 with good response for 2 cycles now.

I'm in my first round of iui. Took 50mg clomid cd3-7. Went for day12 check-in today. They showed me a grown follicle and took a blood test and i was told to take trigger shot tonight with iui Monday. Anyone else doing something similar?

Other than my initial bloodwork with my first cycle after consulting an RE the only bloodwork I typically do is a CD1 pregnancy test. I have an U/S on CD3 and approx CD 12. That is my only monitoring.

Missy, I also do a trigger shot (Ovidrel) after my mid-cycle U/S. When I have an IUI, it is the day following my trigger shot.

3 before ovarian drilling, 2 after.
300mg CD5-9 (second cycle that dosage) Currently CD28.
OBGYN appointment 29th January to get CD23 results for the past 2 cycles (because it fell over Christmas break, he was away and I couldn't get my results for the first round)
If no ovulation either of those cycles, we move on to IVF.

After 6 months of rounds of clomid, ovarian drilling and no ovulation, I finally got my results for my past 2 cycles of 300mg clomid. I OVULATED BOTH TIMES!!!

Dr told me my levels went from a 2nmol/L (anything under 20 means no ovulation) up to 70nmol/L... he even said that high of a level increases my chances of falling pregnant with twins if we do fall pregnant on the clomid. Going to do a few more rounds if not pregnant this time.

I am CD30 today and my last cycle was 33 days, and I ovulated the same day this cycle (CD18) so just playing a waiting game now. Have had cramping for 2 days now and today I had stretchy CM egg white colour with white streaks through it... so confused.

Even though we are not guaranteed to fall pregnant, it feels AMAZING to know I ovulated and we are at least a step closer in our TTC journey! FX

Hey girls I'd love to join you!
Just had an appt today and finally got some clomid to try after 2 yrs ttc and no bfp. we are currently unexplained so who knows if it will do it, but I'm just excited to finally have something to try! I have a prescription for 100mg from cd2-6 but she did say i could start with 50mg. Not sure if that meant i Should or ?? were any of you warned of starting at 100 rather than 50? Because I kind of want to just go for the 100 from the get go... any advice??
i get to start it this weekend most likey..as for testing i gave that up a long time ago so ill just ride it out and see what happens is af doesnt show(tho the dr did warn me it might lengthen my cycle anyway)

born2beamama - I don't know about others but I was started on 50mg and am still taking that dose. If they ordered 100mg for you though, I'm sure that must be ok for you to take. Good luck!

Congrats Jillie! That's exciting news!

born2bemama -- I was started at 50mg too. Not sure why, but Im guessing they want you to have as little as possible and get results. I have friends who were moved to more after trying 50mg for a while. I got one follie this time.

My follow-up is 2/10. They're letting me do a 13 day wait instead of tww b/c of my schedule. Hooray for the extra day! I've given up testing at home anyway cuz it's been feeling like a waste of money...
