Clomid and herbs?

Hi...does anybody know anything about chinese herbs???

I have one round of clomid and will shortly be starting second...however I read that chinese herbs can improve fertility.

Does anybody know if you can take Tiaojing Cuyun Wan at the same time.

I've got to take clomid from days 2-6, and its suggested taking the herbs 2 times a day from day 5-25. Obviously I don't want to cause any adverse interactions if the two shouldn't be mixed.

Can anyone help??????????? Getting sooooo desparate now for a BFP

Hey, I was prescribed clomid in January. I talked to my specialist at the time about acupuncture and chinese herbs as I'd been on them for a while. He said that Clomid was a fan of acupuncture but not herbs. A TCM will probably tell you differently, but I have a tcm contact in Hong Kong who advised me to follow my specialists advice. Hi there,

My acupuncturist does not give any herbs with fertility medications. They say there are not enough studies done to show what the effects are. If you are doing acupuncture though - I'd keep that up. Or, I would confirm the herbs saftey with your FS before continuuing.

Any herb which affects hormonal balance should be avoided with Clomid as it simply renders it useless.
