clomid and you?

hey i was wondering how everyone else had taken clomid and had it worked? what doseage etc?

we're due to go back on clomid for 2months while we wait for iui. anyways i was on clomid for 6months last time and the last month i took it i forgot about it and ended up being told to take it day 4-7 instead of day 2-5 anyways that month is the one i got pregnant with my LO casey who sadly didn't make it but still i got pregnant usully i am on between 50-100mg from day 2-5, my RE said to take it like this which i will be read many studies on the different days which women take clomid and how the sucess rates are different would love to hear if you used clomid what days and doseage you used and if you got pregnant?

i have done 2months on 50mg and just about to start my 3rd month on 100 mg

i take mine day 2-5 xxx

Been ttc for over 2years and not once got pregnant yet xx

on my fourth cycle of clomid at 50 mg and have ovulated the first three months with no luck. i took the days 5-9 first three months and now this month am taking them days 3-7.

ah right nice hope it works out for you, i have always been on the 2-5 clomid but when i missed it and it was day 4-7 i got pregnant so i dunno what to do.

i dont think there are higher success rates with any of the days.

some studies i have seen disagree, when i read before was given clomid last year, different hospital give it on different days for this reason.

I did clomid 50 mg and it didn't make me ovulate, did 100 mg next round and it got me my BFP!!!! I took it on days 5-9 both times.

Hi Lynne - I did 3 cycles of clomid, first one at 100mg and second 2 at 150mg and a BFP a few days ago! I took it days 3-7. I will say though, I would not have taken it again, it turns out it was having a really bad effect on my uterine lining and it was super thin. It was only just ok this cycle and I am very nervous about another m/c because of the lining issue. Are you being monitored? Can you ask to be checked around day 12?

nah not being checked they only checked me first cycle of last round to make sure i ovulated and that was that? i dunno much about the linning of my uterus but have heard of this problem in the past with others hope your little one is a sticky bean x

Hey!

I just got my bfp on cycle 3 of clomid 50mg, the last two cycles I took it as prescribed on days 2-6. BUT, this month I took it days 3-7 as my hubby was away and not due back until after ov day so I wanted to delay it a little. This was also the 1st month I got definitely ov pain and ewcm so I think me taking it days 3-7 made all the difference for me.

No i dont, dont want to bore everybody with it tbh and so far just been nothing but stress and tears and worry with it all i just finished my last clomid tablet today on 100mg, so hopefully i might actually get a positive on a OPK this month

do you know when its best to start testing?? xxxx

i have been taking 3 months on 50mg of clomid this made the quality of my eggs very poor from what they were so they upped my dose to 100mg for 3 months. my progestrone level went to 104, this meant i ovulated

i have not yet concieved and got my BFN this morning. i do have mild side effects from clomid but have not given up hope yet. i have been trying for 9 years now but never say never. i only have 1 more attempt at clomid and then its IUI treatment.

how many months are you allow to take clomid for? i wasn't allow more than 6months because it increases the risks of cancer???

i am only aloud to take it for 6 months but they gave me 8 months supply so im slightly temped to keep going. but i will run it by my specialist first and if he says no then i wont of course.

aww best of luck we had to wait 6months before being given anymore clomid and only got a max of 2months of it
