Clomid= anxiety through the roof. Help!

I have generalized anxiety disorder. It has been very under control for almost a year. I started clomid 3 days ago and now I'm having major anxiety. My heart beats faster and even feel a little tightening or pinch in my chest. I'm not sure if that is caused by anxiety or if it is the cause OF anxiety. I am scared to take the last 3 pills. Help! I was up all night last night.

Hey. I know that is a scary place to be. I have been like that before. Just try to tough it out for 3 more days. Just remember when you feel like that you are okay its just the anxiety. I know when I get like that I always fear death is gonna swoop in and consume me. Hasn't yet. I get you though.

Are you taking something for the anxiety?

I stopped taking zoloft over 8 months ago because I didn't want to take something while pregnant unless I needed too. I've done good so far. My dr just told me that anxiety is not a side effect. I can't say I believe that luckily I've done some anxiety counseling and learned some wonderful coping skills, but in the middle of the night those feelings still scare the heck out of me and feel very real. As long as I know it's only anxiety, I can cope. It's hard to convince yourself that it's nothing more serious though! Thank you for your understanding response.

it is DEF a side effect!!! i am the same way with the stress/anxiety and find it so much worse on clomid....like i cannto sleep and get so wound up..just try and relax, finish the pills and do something to take ur mind off it!
