Clomid Cycle 1 and OPK question

Hello all,
I am cd21 today. Took clomid 50mg days 4-8; this is my 1st cycle.
I started testing with my Clearblue digital OPK on cd11. I was testing most days twice a day, morning and evening. Did not ever get a positive. BUT, on cd14 I had some cramping similar to AF cramps, which I thought might be ovulation pain.

Could I have ovulated and not picked up a surge? Even with testing twice per day?? Is it possible that clomid is screwing with my opk results?

I called my doc's office and they were surprised but said to just carry on and take an hpt if my period doesn't come on time. Duh. Lol

Hi there! I am on my first round of clomid also. I took it cycle days 3 through 7. Clomid made me O 4 days late. Were you using OPK clear blue advanced?

I had a flashing smiley for 4 or 5 days before even getting a solid smiley.

Were you using test dip strips as a cross check by chance? If not, I would totally get those on amazon.com for next cycle. The digi may not be picking up your surge and I have read that can happen.

Also, are you temping?? You should do that too...you'll see a real shift to confirm ovulation.
