Hey there,
I have been ttc since Jan 2013. After one ectopic (lost tube) one MC and 6 months of no luck I am on my first round of clomid to give my "working" side a better chance to ovulate. I took it CD5-9 and OPK says I should be ovulating soon. BTW the Dr. also said I have low progesterone and said clomid should help with that. It is the very first time I feel really hopeful again. That I finally have a real chance at getting pregnant. Anybody else in a similar boat? Good luck to us all

This is also my first month, I've had follicle tracking and I have ovulated from the right and left ovary today.. fx'd for us. Xxx

that's great, good for you. I hope I also have follicles on both sides since I only have one tube. I am not having a mid-cycle ultrasound though. Too expensive.... My EWCM is not existent though. Have you ovulated yet?

oh ok, just saw you say you ovulated today. I should be ovulating in the next following days. Good luck! Keep me posted

I am now on CD13 and got two blinking smiley faces in clearblue digital, signalling high fertility. I am hoping to get the peak fertility reading soon.
I am feeling a bit bummed though as I know ovulation is approaching and I feel my ovary on the no-tube side much more than the other one. I am just praying I have at least one mature follicle on the side where I have my tube [-o< Anyone else waiting to ovulate on a clomid cycle?

CD14 and waiting to ovulate. This morning I got my third blinking smiley face on clearblue digital. I hope to get the solid one soon. I have started becoming impatient I know it can take longer than 5 days to actually ovulate after the last clomid dose..... Anyway, I am still keeping my hopes up and praying that clomid will do the trick for me. I definitely started feeling ovulation pain (sadly I feel the ovary with no tube more than the other one), but I want to remain hopeful [-o<
I would love to hear from somebody who is also trying clomid....or not O:)

Hey there! It seems I am just posting to myself O:)
This is CD15. i got another blinking smile this morning. This is the fourth. It has been 6 days since my last dose of clomid. Still waiting to ovulate and hopeful [-o<

I'm on my first cycle of Clomid too. I've been ttc for about 2 years, had PERFECT cycles (27-28 days, ovulation detected etc)... Hubby low but normal sperm count I had a lap in June 2013, got pregnant after the lap, miscarried at 6-7 weeks. Broken..

I had always thought my ovulation or progesterone bc of how often and how much I spot. But they never restested my blood bc of insurance/and I had gotten pregnant once. Anyways in January I was kinda stressed/depressed bc of coming up on the due date and work stuff was insanely busy. My spotting started at ovulation and I ended up starting my period on cd 21. Went in for bloods, and the next cycle (feb) confirmed low pg and no ovulation. It's sad to say- but I'm
Excited. Maybe clomid can help. I think I ovulate, albeit irregularly. This is a step. Something besides "well, there's nothing wrong, keep trying." I think unexplained infertility is the worst, most frustrating thing. I'm on 50mg cd 3-9. Hoping to get something, but not expecting it AT ALL. I feel like after 2 years, you pretty much stop hoping for anything, but at the same time you still do.. If that makes sense.

Best of luck to us all.

Ltruns33, thanks for your post. Why is it sad that you are excited? I think you should be :happydance: . Finally you know that something is slightly not right in your cycle and that might have very well been the cause of your MC and you having a hard time getting pregnant. Now you are trying something new that should help to get a better ovulation (all hormones in place). This is exciting. It will give you much better chances of conceiving. Sometime ago, I used to feel uncomfortable at the idea of needing some help. But hey, we have stressful, busy lives and our bodies might be the ones paying the price. Any help I can get is welcome. Keep me posted on how your cycle is going? Have you started taking clomid? :hugs:

Just wanted to post an update. CD16, 7 days after my last dose of clomid, I got a peak reading with ClearBlue digital
Soon enough I am going to start my tww with renewed hope [-o<
I wish I knew whether I have a mature follicle from the side where my tube is. I am feeling hopeful and positive. Anybody else out there who would like to share their experience?

Hi ladies, I had terrible ovulation pains Wednesday so much worse then normal I had released a follicle tues/weds on my right side of 20mm and then the one on the left was 25mm and ready to release that day she said. My right tube is completely blocked. But the specialist said it doesn't make me have less chance , also I was told clomid can mess with the OPK. Eabwhab are you having follicle tracking???

hello robo123, I did have some pain yesterday and the day before (got my peak reading on clearblue yesterday morning). It was not too bad. I suppose I have just ovulated or will soon. I usually do not have ovulation pain, so I did notice the difference.
I hope you released the mature follicle on your good side
My Dr. is not tracking. I didnt ask. Too expensive. My insurance is not covering and I already had to pay the ultrasound at the beginning of cycle, to check that ovaries were clear. My Dr. too said you can get pregnant with one tube only. I guess it might just take us a longer time. keep me posted on how your tww goes. :hugs:

Luckily I am in the UK and the nhs service I'm getting is really good, I think I'm like 4/5 dpo and getting symptoms that I did not have with my last pregnancy, ( unfortunately mc) I think clomid is giving me these haha. Fx'd for us xxx

yeah, I wish I was back in Europe (where I am from). The health insurance business really sucks:growlmad: I really wish I knew whether I have ovulated from the good side. It would give me some peace of mind. Oh well  not much I can do. I heard that clomid can give you pregnancy-like symptoms, I hope your symptoms are due to pregnancy. I concieved twice and my symptoms were different each time. Best wishes and keep me posted. :hugs:

Hello, I am not sure when exactly I ovulated but I am sure I did. My breasts are filling fuller and my nipples are slightly sore. I think clomid is giving me these symptoms/side effects. My tww has started. I hope it goes by fast and with a happy ending. As always I would love to hear from other ladies.

Hey there, anybody wants to join this thread? It feels more like a diary than a thread :) I am a few days past O. Maybe 4-5. My nipples are basically back to normal apart from being slightly more sensitive than my usual past-O days. I hope this is a good sign that my ovulation was stronger and progesterone levels are where they are supposed to be. I have felt quite a bit of throbbing, stabbing and very mild cramping mainly on one side. I am not sure what to think of it. Certainly no PG signs. It is too early. These post-O feelings are new though. Perhaps lots of left over immature follicles due to clomid? I am not sure. I did freak out a bit at some point. Thinking it could be another ectopic :nope: . Feeling much better now, since the throbbing has stopped. As always, eager to hear from somebody else. :hugs:

I have had really strange cramps since Monday, I would have been roughly 4 DPO they have continued all week on and off. I had like pelvic pains which I get normally a few days before AF. All these things are so different to normal and I'm convinced it's the tablets. My boobs have started hurting today too. Normally they hurt before now. I think I'm about 8DPO today. This 2WW is killing me haha keep me posted on how you are and how this month turns out for you,I also have been nauseous all week have you noticed that?

I know this TWW is going very slowly for me too. Hang in there :hugs: It is my first round on clomid and i am really praying it will be successful. For a few days after ovulation I have had a bit of weird throbbing and stabbing on one side and some mild cramping. I agree, it was probably the medication. I think our ovaries might have had more than one mature follicle and certainly (bigger than usual) immature ones. I have not been nauseous. I am only 4-5dpo. A few more days and you will know. Hopefully you have just implanted or will implant soon!

Today I have slight back ache, a few cramps but not as bad, I really don't think this will be by BFP cycle. How are you feeling? X

Today I am so so :( I have been very moody. One day feeling hopeful, one day feeling down and negative. I have no symptoms really. I noticed though that I have a lot more creamy CM than my other cycles. I hope it means my ovulation was good and that my progesterone is where it is supposed to be. Other than that nothing really, apart from 'feeling' my ovaries, as I do before AF is due. I guess I just have to wait and see. Why you say you do not think this will be your BFP cycle? I think it is too early to say. My best wishes and keep me posted :hugs:
