Can anyone offer any advice? I am on my first cycle of clomid 50mg 3-7 days. Had my scan and was told there were two large folicules (day 14) had my 21 day blood test and said my progesterone levels were very good at 61 so the clomid has done its job. Does anyone know when I will have ovulated, it felt like I ovulated around day 14-15 as had ovulation pains quite badly.
Got my hopes up massively which I know after two years of trying this probably isn't a good thing

Kats,

I hope this helps...

It is a good idea to use opks afterwards. Be careful of false positives, though. I think 5 days after your last pill you are good to start using the opk. Clomid is also supposed to regulate ovulation for women who already ovulate. I have typically been ovulating around day 15 on clomid.

Thanks that is helpful we've always avoided opks and temperature as don't want to put added pressure on and make it all very clinical but I think while we have the 6 months of clomid we need to really go for it

Yeh you def don't want to miss the O when you are being assisted. But if you are active, you can just go with every other day when you think you are fertile. Be sure to get a few sessions in before you think you will ovulate. I feel O a lot more on clomid. Listen to your body.

I will also give you some more advice. One: clomid can dry up cm...you may want to invest in some preseed or conceive plus. Both can be found on amazon or preseed is at the drug store. I also had a very intense O on cycle 1. You may experience mood swings or also some bloating in the uterus area.

I also have a thread going...it is not in the LTTTC, but we have a few clomid ladies & it can be helpful while you are going through this new process.

Good luck!

Yeah I'm pretty sure I know to the day when I ovulated as felt like I could feel my ovaries pushing the egg out haha.
Thanks for the tips and will have a look on that thread.
Xx
