Clomid- help!

I'm on my first cycle of clomid. Took first pill, 50mg, today- day 3. I'm now feeling a pulsing throb on my right ovary. Is this normal?! I'm only on day 1 so I'm scared what will happen if I keep taking it.

PS- according to my doctor, my day 21 tests confirm that I ovulate normal but he put me on clomid because we're trying to conceive with low sperm count so we're giving "the guys a few more targets."

should I be concerned with this throbbing dull pain? Anyone else experience this?

Hi Suzie, I took 100 mg CD5-9 and started feeling mild discomfort on CD11. I know from other threads many of us feel it working, although I don't know how early others felt it. I'm sure others will post.

Hya im takin clomid and av experienced that sort of discomfert before, im on my third go and like you I ovulate on my own sperm count is low . Good luck.x

Dear Susie, this is my first cycle on clomid 50gms and I have experienced discomfort from the day i I started taking it..I guess there are the side effects of the tablet..but if u r having any severe pain in ur tummy then u shd call up ur doc and fix it..hopefully it wud jus be a dull pain..do dont worry..

If you're really worried I would speak to your doc about it, just to be on the safe side. I'm sure it's absolutely fine but ovary hyper stimulation is a side effect of clomid and it can be very dangerous.

I'm of course not suggesting for a minute that is what you have, but perhaps to ease your mind you could speak with your doctor..
