Clomid Help

This is my 5th round of Clomid and normally I have no trouble with it. I went from 50mg to 100mg last month and was still fine on 100mg. This time though.. AF is a lot heavier. I've had heavy bleeding for almost 5 days now and I noticed that today after taking the Clomid my hips and low back started hurting and AF got pretty heavy. I would call the Dr, but she is out of the office tomorrow. Anyone ever had this happen. The pain was so bad today that I was almost in tears and tylenol does nothing.

Sorry hun can't really help but wanted to lend you a little support. At least you know with a heavy period you had a great lining. I do get back aches on clomid but that is usually during the TWW and never bad enough to require pain killers.

last cycle was my 3rd clomid round, and my af was the most awful, painful, excruciating and messy af I have had in like, forever! (have a look at my journal update)

This month my AF was way too heavy. I was on 100mg of Clomid. I didn't think Clomid would do anything to AF, but that must been it.

It was the opposite for me , on naturally cycles AF is super heavy on clomid cycles its light most likely from it thinning my lining ,so if AF is heavier on it then its a good sign hopefully its your last AF for 9 months!.

UPDATE!!! I ended up in the ER last night. After taking the Clomid I starting bleeding heavy and loosing clots. Then, started to shiver really bad and could not get warm. I turned pail as well. Went to ER and they put me on an IV, did blood work and an ultra sound. Called Dr. today and she said to take last doas of Clomid and is more reviewing my ultrasound. Hopefully tonights doas doesn't do anything.

Your Clomid history is EXACTLY like mine. My Dr. had me take my last dose tonight and it went fine. She said Clomid wouldn't make me bleed like that and that my body must of had more it needed to shed to prepare for hopefully get int pregnant. Good luck on your BFP!!

Just finished my first cycle of 50mg Clomid and AF started yesterday. Worse AF ever! Really bad pains and loads of bleeding, really dark brown and very gloopy. As long as this is normal, I can put up with it!!

It must be normal because a lot seem to be experiencing it. I usually get heavy AF's, but this one was the heaviest I have ever had. I'm going to blame it on the 100mg of Clomid.

yeah my AF is disgusting on clomid!! not sore but just so heavy and yuck. I even had to have a shower and bear down to get rid of some of it to give me some relief. Talk about yuck!!!

Thank you, I can handle the heavy bleeding.....well just about, but it's the dizziness! Hopefully it will subside soon. x

Do you think it may be lack of iron from all the bleeding? Maybe a big piece of red meat?

I had thought about that but I am taking Pregnacare which includes iron.

But yes, I can always manage a bit of steak!!
