clomid question

Around when I ovulate for sevrral days beyond horrible cramps and touching my lower abdomin hurts so bad....

I used to think it was over stimulation because it hurts so damn much, but its not. Anyone else have so much pain when ovulating on clomid? Mind u I always hurt wjen ovulating, but clomid makes it horrible.

Boo bear are they scanning you when you're on chlomid? It'd be nice to see how many and what size your follies grow to, it may help you understand why such pain.

Yeah, many women complaint of ovulation pain that gets worse while on Clomid. Clomid causes you to "super-ovulate" meaning you can get more than one ovulatory cyst on each ovary. That can be very, very painful. Pain can be either or both of the ovaries depending on which one is dominant. Once you ovulate the hormone in the Clomid is still in your body and that hormone continues to "feed" into the cyst causing the pain to last a few days after O. Apart from this there is also a chance of hyper-stimulation. Thought it is generally considered rare but important to keep in mind due to the potential for serious, sometimes life threatening side effects.
Make sure that your doctor does the ultra sound that is supposed to be taken when on Clomid. It will show if you have the cyst or not and how big it is. How about speaking with your RE?

He says bad cramps are normal. I just wanted to see if any other women has gone through it too..
To answrr 2 have4kids yes im monitered by RE, thats why I know its not hyper stim

I'm only on second clomid pill today (cycle day6) and I'm having severe lower back pain. It feels like period pains but amplified. I had to go home early from work today....and I love my work
