Clomid & trigger shot....do I temp and use an opk?

I have bad eggs....maybe a little pcos. My LH is higher than my FSH and I have poor eggs. Anyways, I'm finally starting with Clomid on cd 5-9 w/50mg dose. I will begin doing follicle scans on cd 13 and once my egg is 18mm, my doc will give me the hcg trigger shot.

Do I temp? Do I use an OPK? I forgot to ask my doc and now it's Friday evening. She's controlling everything and I'm just wondering if it's even worth my effort.

Can we have sex for fun before the trigger shot? Or do we hold out until then? I know we are suppose to have sex the day of the trigger and the 2nd day after.

Any one have thoughts?

I will call my doc on Monday too.

I would suggest having sex every other day from CD 10 - as you want to make sure your other half has a fresh supply ready to meet your egg/s. Sperm starts to die after about 48 hours (inside your partner), so as you are going to the effort of getting good eggs, you want the best sperm too.

Technically you won't ovulate until at least 36 hours after the trigger shot, but you never know, so you want to cover all bases!
