close age gap thread

OMG brave parents! though i guess you can't preorder how many you want!

dum de dum. i want another baby now  Ive not gone this long without being pregnant before

I would love another one....but I need to be realistic and look at my family.

Kev and I are finally enjoying the odd nights sleep, its starting to become a bit easier and we're enjoying each others company more rather than running around. Maybe we're managing better but  I just feel contented with my lot at the minute!!

I worry that we'll need a bigger house/car etc... whether we'd afford me going back to work and that, we want to get married so :nope: Kev is dead set about no more now either and after seeing that family with so many doubles...hmmm....I'm a twin, Kev's aunts are twins...chances are :dohh:

Aww! My dad is a twin which is scary because your really just playing the odds.
We would be the Duggars I think lol. We get so broody! Actually 4 would be a good number for us. Lol

Sarah! I know what you mean I was preg nearlly 2 yrs straight and it gets awkward!!! Haha. Oh said something about stArting TTC in a couple months! I nearly died. You can tell he doesn't have to be the one whose pregnant!

I keep seeing people's pregnancy tickers and baby tickers and reading about people wanting more and think :cloud9: I want another too :brat:

And then I ask Kev and he says no...He's talked about having the snip but I'm not sure that I'm completely done yet?! I've had friends say that you know when you've had your last baby. Do you think thats true? Cos if I'm being totally honest, I don't really feel like I'm done yet IYKWIM?

i dont think you know! it can go in swings and roundabouts i think! i thought erin was my last baby then i got broody! :haha: i would love another now but not just yet but OH is adamant no more. i went to dr today and got a prescription for the depo provera shot.

HEY every1. just got the net back on after moving, the house is much more me and has land for our horses so i am very pleased. tho living with my mum and sister is not always easy my mums fine i can deal with her tho my sister is just about to send me insane she has lived with me for a year now and still hasnt lifted a finger i have had enough of her leaving masses of hair all through the sink and the floor and then toppng it of with a shit load of make up through the sink and all the other messess she makes you all probly asume i am talking about a teenager nope this is a 28 year old woman with a 10 year old daughter. not only that but i feel like she is trying to steal my daughter bragging that she accidently called her mummy and stating to everyone in the lounge room that gabrielle loves her the most because se buys her nice things, and now i cant leave thre house at night because shes scared to be alone

:gun: How frustrating must that be?! :hugs: Could you not sit down and talk to her about it? How is it that she's living with you if you don't mind me asking?

In regards to Gabrielle just shrug it off...you and I know that when it comes to the nitty gritty she adores you! My mum does this to me with Jacob, he's occasionally called her mum and the glee on her face when he does it (he does get mixed up and says it to his other Nans too) :grr: BUT I just smile and laugh it off and make it into a 'nothing' IYKWIM? That'll annoy her more!

I guess i belong in this wee group(if you'll have me:blush:)

Hi im Lynsey and i have a 20 month son called Leo and 4 month old called Lexie so theres roughly 15 months ish between them.

I hate to say it but neither of my kiddies were planned.Leo was a 'i forgot to go get my next contraception jab' and Lexie was a ' im on the pill for the first month and take it religously but oh it doesnt work for me'

Im quite ashamed that my 2 gorgeous kids were both accidents but i would'nt have it any other way(well maybe a bit bigger of an age gap)

Right now and since Lex has arrived i have hated the small age gap so im hoping by following and being apart of this group il start to realise its a good thing and that i'll eventually start enjoying it!

Hope everyone is well and their kiddies arent creating chaos like my 2 right now haha.

:hi:

I found it really really hard to start off with, I think it does get easier bit by bit!

Now my little girl is weaned and mobile it makes going out so much easier and with her sleeping through the night (touch wood) I feel I'm not a walking zombie as much.

I found the biggest thing is relationship. We argued so much in the early days, I know now a lot had to do with my hormones and us being tired but it very nearly tore us apart!

Sarah  me thinks I'm not done yet...but how the hell we'll have more is beyond me. Kev is more than adamant they'll be no more!!

shes lives with us so she can save enough money to support her long distance relationship and basicly so she can work and have us look after her daughter
today gets worst there was actully her hair in the kitchen i went to give gabrielle her cerial i found hair in it then on the milk then i go to do the dishes and theres clumps in the sink after many many talks aabout theses things and pulling her weight her famous exsuse is im working so i dont have time to clean up my makeup or cook her own dinner or anything actully

:gun: How frustrating must that be?! :hugs: Could you not sit down and talk to her about it? How is it that she's living with you if you don't mind me asking?

halas  she needs a kick up the bum big time!!!

madamej  hi! i have a prescription for the contraceptive shot. did you have any side effects?

Hi all!

MaybeBaby3 - i didn't have any major side effects of the shot, although i did put on a little bit of weight but then that could have been the comfyness of a relationship that was doing that(plus it was xmas time)

I must admit im starting to enjoy my 2 more n more each day,Lexie has become more easy going which helps as Leo has hit the terrible two's already and his temper is something rotten!!

Wot also helps is Lexie now goes down 8-8.30pm and thats her till 6-7am ish, some night she gets woken with noises going on in our block but most nights she's good.Dreading putting her in with Leo so hoping my OH will let her stay in with us a while longer.

Baby France - you were saying about the relationship being effected,i see where your coming from as we have silly little arguements that we NEVER used to have but its always over and done with quickly so its no biggie!

My OH has just recently started a new job, so he's gone from being out the house 4 hours a day to 8 hours a day and its shift work so the days he's working it is very much like im a single parent as i have to do everything.I don't mind though i love cooking and cleaning for my family.

Question for you girlies, what age did you enjoy ur 2 the best(or 3 or 4)??When it was just Leo i loved him around the 6-9month age he was just all smiles and nothing ever bothered him and that was when he was really developping with the cruising etc.

i dont really have a favourite age i enjoyed there is somthing really special about each stage so its a hard one lol they al have pros and cons i have discovered.

just a question ladies. i have had my implanon in for a month and a half and ii think i will get it taken out it is turning me in to a miserable fire breating dragon. but also i have a never ending af :growlmad::growlmad: and sciatica and heatburn lie when i was pregnant anyone had this issue with it or am i just strange lol. on a good note noah took 10 steps today lol 10 steps for turning 10 months old lol.

My implanon took a while to settle tbh...I had it put in in October and it was around Jan that I no longer noticed it? I found it to be itchy and me to be irritable and that but maybe leave it for a month or so and see how you get on? My friend was the same, it took hers a couple of months to settle?

I'm like Halas too, I think each age has brought new things that are just brilliant!! Monster is really coming on with his chatting and sings away and Elf tries her hardest to copy him :cloud9: although her is just lots of barble

 two walking babies over here now. OFFICIALLY have two toddlers!!

Fun and games

I can but can't wait for elf to start walking....I've no doubt in my mind she'll see it as her god given right to terrorise monster now after all he's teases her!!!

I bet you're so proud :flower:
