close age gap thread

hows everyones lo's going? mine are doin well gabirelle starts her first day of daycare tomorrow im so nervous for her she will be going one day a week and noahs getting his 8 week check up tomorrow as well so i will get to see how much he weighs now. has anyone had trouble with the older child waking the younger one gabrielle was great with it 4 the first 2 weeks and would always be telling everyone to shhh babys sleeping and be verry quiet and leave him be now she keeps trying to go over and give him a dummy or pat or kiss him and show him toys while hes sleeping i then have to explain to her that he asleep and move her away which she dosnt like so she then screams at the top of her lungs to wake him up bc she knows then i will have to get him out and she can then talk to him its driving me nuts bc the only time i can get him to have a dosnt nap is when shes asleep which right now is difficult to geet her to nap in the day

hi! owen had his 4 month vaccines and was ill afterwards but thankfully was back to normal the next day! i hate vaccinations! owen is really clingy when he's awake and i am not getting much done. my mum has offered to take him out tomorrow morning so i can do some housework  he is doing really well with weaning and is now eating 3 meals. unfortunately he still wants to bf all night :dohh: erin and dylan are enjoying nursery/school. how are you all and your LOs?

Hey can I join in please?

I have a little boy, Jacob who is just about to turn 18 months and a little girl, Emma who is just over 2 months!!

We planned to have them close together and I LOVE being their mummy...yes sometimes its tiring and hard but then when I watch Emma staring at her big brother and smiling and insisting on her 'dancing' with him and him kissing her...its soooo worth it!

I would love another one but my OH says we've got one of each and doesn't want any more! I'm hoping he changes his mind but I don't think he will!

I get annoyed with people ALWAYS telling me that I've got my hands full and how hard it must be. 1). It was planned this way and yes we have our hands full 2). No shit, but I love my life now do me a favour and stop blocking the fricking door...I've got a baby to feed and a toddler to change!!

of course you can join hun, , lol im on tenderhooks at the moment waiting to take a preg test caus i think i might be pregnant and that would be a 16month gap and i dont think im ready for that

hi baby france :flower: i get the same comments about having 3 under 5!!! Oh and my OH made the same comments about having two but i managed to change his mind :happydance: i want another but that is going to b near impossible to negotiate i think!!!

lynnikins - when are you testing? how exciting!

gonna test at the weekend im hoping our housemates will go out for a bit to the gym or something so i can do the test and tell DH privately as there is no privacy in this flat

Oooh Lynnikins! Hope you get whatever you decide!

Halas you just want to bop them don't you! I don't really mind when its familr/friends but when its repetitive or strangers in the street...I'm like :saywhat: do I know you?

Maybebaby3 My OH is definately not up for persuasion - no matter how hard I try! I even said when these two start school and it was a point blank no. I'm hoping that the next couple of years will help change his mind!

my OH was like that but i managed to get my way in the end :haha: hopefully you will too

oh and i love your avatar baby france! your babies are soooooooooooooooooo cute!

He adores her (ATM) although these last few days he keeps trying to get her away from me?! Did any of you ladies find that?

lol! dylan and erin want to hold owen all the time! the other day my MIL was babysitting as it was my bday and OH and i went out for dinner and owen was in his buggy but not strapped in coz he was sleeping and he woke up and apparently MIL came into the room to find dylan holding owens hands and owen standing up in front of the buggy!!! their obsession with the baby hasnt seemed to be wearing off, maybe it will once he starts crawling/walking and taking their toys!

He didn't like her at first then loved her too bits...not sure if its cos he's teething he wants reassurance? When we put his nursery rhyme cd on he always wants her to dance with us (kills my back!)

I've been losing my baby weight with WW - I lost another 3lb tonight! i had 63lb to lose and now only have 29lb to lose after only 11 weeks! Surprised at how easy I've found it?

i need to start ww. have 2 stone to lose but zero willpower at the mo :dohh:
