What do you think?
LO goes to his childminder (his auntie) 2 days a week and my parents 2 days a week, soon to be nursery 1 day a week too. All say they are happy to use reuseables, so I put together the easiest peasiest ones to use (ie. aplix ones) all ready. My mum's great with them and even uses the poppered ones and will even hand rinse them for me
Nursery reckon they're happy to do it too.
However ... His auntie/childminder, when we started using cloth, was very tutty about it, but now she's looking after him she says she's fine to use it, but she doesnt actually like using them. She won't touch the poo (not that i want her to touch it lol but to scrape the poo off) so i get nappies back all bundled up covered in poo. Yesterday she didnt check the nappy for ages so admitted he had been sitting in poo for ages (as you cant smell it in cloth can you) and it was all stuck to the nappy. I threw out the fleece liner and tried to scrape off as much as I could but it was all dried on
Luckily his skin didnt seem the worse for wear for sitting in it. He'd also leaked through but she didnt change his vest either .....
I can't make her do it can I? should i just bite thebullet and give her sposies for him? I dont want his nappies ruined or for him to get rashes or anything because of it
