Clotted cream

Having even scones jam and clotted cream for the past 6 nights, thought I'd best check whether clotted cream is ok to et? Bit late now I guess

Not even thought of this, but I've had scones with clotted cream on several occasions throughout this pregnancy.

Just found this:

Clotted cream is made by scalding the cream and allowing a thick layer to form on the surface - it is brought to a much higher temperature than used in pasturising,so yes it is safe.

Call me silly. But what is clotted cream?

It's s very thick gloopy cream that you can't pour you have to use a spoon. It's lush!
