I'm currently expressing milk and I cannot keep up with the volumes my daughter is feeding. So I'm topping up with formula and have been using ready made. I am moving to powder now instead if ready made and understand that you're not meant to make up bottles in advance.
If a baby is feeding regularly I understand how s bottle can be made in advance. But my daughter is only 12 days old and feeds so unpredictably. How do I make bottles then?
If I'm in a hurry how do I cool the bottle enough for her when I've used boiling water?
He formula says you need to use the feed within two hours so can I keep the bottle made up for two hours? In the fridge?
Any advice appreciated!
