He now feeds for over an hour before bed and wakes almost every hour, but will stay asleep for over 3 hours if I put him in the swing, do you think that's comfort-sucking or cluster-feeding? I want to change breasts during that feed if he's hungry but he doesn't always regular how much he eats, and will take in until it pours back out, but if he's just comfort-sucking then I'll keep him on the same breast as I've always done and see if this phase will pass soon, he used to sleep for over 3 hours at the start of the night without the swing, but I guess we're in the four month sleep regression territory.

Sometimes the comfort suck is babies way to boost your supply for a growth spurt.

If baby awake and comfort sucking I swap sides if dozing and latched I leave be.

Kellymom website often has good info.

I still have very good supply, he rarely needs a second side before he's done during the day, another reason I want to avoid cluster feeding. Guess I'll just have keep doing what I'm doing and see.
