cluster feeding

hi all, my little man tends to cluster feed in the evenings, which is fine and i know this is normal, but i was just wondering how any of you with lo's that do this manag to eat your tea? im sure he has a sensor connected to our oven door!

I sat on my backside and my hubby fetched and carried. If he wasnt around I kept snacks and fizzy water on the table next to me.....oh and the TV remote, phone and laptop!!

My DH took are of it for me as well. He would make diner, and get my plate and I would meet him at the table with Brenn nursing away. I found the Boppy was great at keeping Brenn at nipple level. I spent many a meal with a nursing baby.

Yeah - same here. Still do if we are eating late and she's having bedtime boobie!

Lucas did this all the time to start with, nearly drove me to dispair. Even when i tried to time food just after a feed it never happened !

In the end i just perfected eating one handed down to a fine art, honestly it will get better xx

my boy has this additional sense too, no matter what time we eat he knows and wants booby. think he's trying to initiate family meal time.

I have not had a single meal without juggling LO since he was born. OH tries to help but we can't even have a conversation now. My LO is seriously the boss. Dining out has become impossible. It was all slightly easier before LO got to the stance where he is interested in everything and therefore won't sleep if anywhere new or stay latched on if I try to eat or talk. He's a proper mosey Parker these days and at meal times especially. If he has something to eat himself it's a bit easier but then I can't really just get on with my own food. It's exasperating often but sooooo very very worth it. I know it's only a short while before they are old enough to start learning some table manners etc.
