CM before expected Period?

I have a question for all those who have been tracking your CM. I have never really done this but i am curious about it. I understand how it should be when you ovulate but im wondering how it should be right before your expected period.

I dont know exactly when i am to expect my period as last month i only had a 24 day cycle and usually i am 28 days. mine is basically clear and stretchy right now. is this normal for when you are to start your period?

Personally i get what can only be described as EWCM before my AF is due to start.

what is EWCM?

It stands for egg white cervical mucus and it means your cm kinda looks like egg white-stretchy and clear lol

im so glad you posted this i have the same thing today my Af is due wed am im really confuesed about it i thought you only had ewcm when you ov ????

i am due af wed and for a few weeks (since ov) ive had lotion like cm. still got it now but i think im out this month. not feeling a bfp on the horizon at all!

No your CM should kind of go in a cycle ... EWCM before/around ovulation and then again before AF is due.

I honestly never got EWCM mine was either creamy white CM or nothing at all lol

oh thats ok then i know she's on her way cause im feeling her but was really confused when i saw ewcm instead of cherry red !!
