Ive decided to start keeping an eye on my CM

Can anyone give me any pointers on what to look out for, or point me in the direction of some useful info?

would be much aprreciated as i dont have a clue lol

supposedly your cm goes egg white and stretchy when your ovulating. not everyone has this tho, but its on thing to look out for!

You will in time turn into a knicker watching manic like we all are lol

Not sure where the thread is....But personally here's a few tips I can give.

After AF it's usually pretty dry.
Then it goes Sticky....(sometimes cluggy, and can be a bit tinted in colour)
Then it goes Creamy..., not as thick and it begins to get a little stretchy
then it gets thinner....to the point it's more like a liquid...
During your fertile phase it's clear and like egg white...
You'll often see people refer to it as EWCM - (egg white clear mucus)

To test, it's best to put two fingers inside and see what it looks like
on your fingers....Press the two fingers together and see how "stretchy"
it is....the EWCM should stretch between two fingers without breaking apart as easily...

TMI warning here...

Most cycles I can just examine the CM (cervical mucus) when I go to the bathroom from the tissue I use when I wipe.

My cycles are 25 days long so my CM cycle looks like this:

cd 1-4 = AF
cd 5-8 = dry
cd 9-11 (or so) = sticky/creamy CM
cd 12-14 = creamy/eggwhite CM (depending on when I ovulate)

now for me, once I ovulate I get very sticky CM again and this persists until I get the decrease of progesterone and an increase in estrogen right before AF when my CM gets kinda fertile looking again.

cd 15-20 = dry/sticky/creamy CM
cd 21-25 = creamy/ somewhat eggwhite CM

I check my CM several times a day and if you are charting or keeping track, you want to notate the MOST FERTILE CM you have for that day... so if you notice creamy in the morning, then dry at lunch then EW that night... note the EWCM on your 'chart' and you should be BD'ing until you notice it not EW anymore.

Right now mine is kinda thick/whiteish/sticky and ive never really noticed it like that before which is why i think i want to start keeping an eye out

mine just seems to be creamy or sticky most of the time, think my cm isn't normal!! even when i have lots it seems creamy, does it dry creamy anyway?? ................god this is gross!!

you know i did stop for a split second and think that then i thought hang on we all have it so ..... lol

If you are having trouble diferentiating your CM you may want to do an internal check to get the CM right at the source.
