Has anyone taken Co-Dydramol during their pregnancy?
Iv got something wrong with me called Achalasia, Its something wrong with my food pipe and often causes it to go into spasm and I get horrendous chest pain, it sometimes being so bad that iv fainted. Before i got pregnant i would take tramadol to stop the pain, but this is a no no in pregnancy. So iv been putting up with the chest pains and just taking paracetamol and sometimes my GTN spray (which iv been told is ok to take if i rele need it)
Iv had constant chest pains since thursday night and been taking paracetomol every 4 hours, but tonight it got so bad i thought i was going to pass out, my spray wasnt helping or either was anything else and a few weeks ago my doctor prescribed me Co-Dydramol to use as a last resort if the pain got really bad. So tonight i had to take it & its taken away the pain but left me feeling really drowsy.
Surley the doctor wouldnt of given it to me if it could harm baby would she? Im just really worried. xxx
