Has anyone used a co-sleeper that goes in the bed? Something like this? https://www.amazon.com/Summer-Infan...TF8&qid=1449091986&sr=1-5&keywords=co+sleeper
How did it work out? I don't really want a big co-sleeper since baby will be moving into a crib after a couple months, but figured I'll probably end up with baby in our bed for a little while just to make it easier nurse at night and hopefully still get some sleep :) I really like the idea of this, but can't see spending $120 for a pillow. https://www.amazon.com/Snuggle-Me-O...F8&qid=1449091986&sr=1-23&keywords=co+sleeper
I do have two small dogs that sleep in bed as well so something with sides would be better anyway. Hopefully they won't try and climb in with baby!

I forgot to mention we do have a king size bed so we won't be too crowded with it.

I used the cosleeper and it work well. Once she grew out of it, she moved right into her crib that was attached to our bed. Have to admit that it was very convenient having her near by since I breastfed and was able to keep an eye on her.

Great! I'll give it a go.. and if it doesn't work out, no big deal as they aren't expensive.

We used a rock and play sleeper. I liked it as it was easy to use and it folds for travel so i could take it downstairs or anywhere else really. He loved it. :)

Yes I used something similar with my son. He is now 13 months and sleeps on a floor bed in his room

Did you use the rock and play next to the bed? Our bed is really tall.. I have to use a stepstool to get in it. That's why I'm thinking something in the bed so I can just grab baby and feed and only actually get up if she/he needs to be changed or something. This is a first baby so I guess I'll figure it out as I go. I know planning never really works out.

i'm getting one of these this time, i think. i had the rock-n-play last time, and while i liked it alright, my son was a big baby, and outgrew it very quickly!

I did but our bed isn't really tall so he was level with me. He used it up until he was almost 5 months old. You can find them really cheap used most of the time so if you can find it for the right price it's one thing to try. Paid $25 for mine. :)

A friend of mine has the Arm's Reach that jtink28 mentioned and she loves it.

There are so many options these days! I think the best thing to do is read reviews on all of the choices you are personally interested in and decide which one matches your family and needs the most :)

We also used a Rock n Play, as some other mamas mentioned. We kept one on each side of our bed (we have twins) and it was perfect. The rocking and music on the Rock n Play put them to sleep quickly. We also used SwaddleMe's which they loved. Our last trick was to keep the room warm (around 72 degrees Fahrenheit). Those 3 things were our recipe for happy, sleepy babies. If you want to see combo in action, there are some photos on this post about the tricks we had to use when we eventually moved them to cribs. Good luck! https://www.theydontfeedthemselves.com/transitioning-twins-to-cribs/
